Just wanted to give you a quick update on our fundraising achievements recently and also tell you about what’s next.
Thank you to all those kind tigers who donated something into the Christmas hamper. We raised $750 through the raffle which was won at the Christmas party by Geraldine Goss (congratulations).
Secondly was the New Year’s Eve party, we raised $2,400 from ticket sales and bar profits, which is an awesome effort.
Hopefully all those that were there would agree it was a great night with some of the best firework views around and of course the best company!
So that brings our total so far this financial year to: $4,350! Great effort so far.
Coming up next is our annual Quiz night being held on Saturday 2nd April, Tickets for this are available at $25 and are available via money transfer to the club . Get in quick as we are limited to how many tables we can fit in within the hall. It’s always a fun night and this year I’m sure will be no different with our American theme – quiz master Justin Thomas is already in full swing preparing the questions.
On the subject of Quiz night, it wouldn’t be such a success if we didn’t have so many items to “Auction” off throughout the night. For those not familiar with the format we usually have a live auction in between quiz rounds and a silent auction run in the background. Some of the bidding can get quite fierce (in true tiger style)!
Do you have anything to donate to the club for the auction? This could be:
- Holiday homes / trips away
- Vouchers / Wine
- Services on offer (gardening, handyman, cleaning)
- Vintage or overseas sport kit
- Anything else!
If you do have something to offer please can you email Cat Bower at [email protected]
Thanks and get swotting up for quiz night! Hope to see you there,
