Early bird tickets are just $45 per person if purchased prior to 22nd December. $65 per person if purchased after 22nd December. All funds raised going directly to the clubs fundraising goal of new equipment.

Celebrate New Years Eve with great friends and unrivalled views of the city’s midnight fireworks from our very own clubhouse deck.
We will be opening the doors and the bar of the boathouse at 8pm on NYE to ring in 2017.
Tickets are just $40 for members and $50 for non members with all proceeds going directly to the clubs fundraising goal of new gym equipment. Tickets are on sale now so purchase them before you miss out!
It’s a New Year…Time to Celebrate!
After last year’s roaring success as a fundraiser, we will be holding another New Year party for our members and their friends / family. What better way to see in New Year than on the balcony of one of the best venues in Melbourne and arguably the best place around to view the fireworks. Hurry though as tickets are strictly limited!

The event will run from 7pm till 1am with last drinks being served at 12:30am. Drinks are at club prices for the night! However we do have some premium bubbles available for those who want to celebrate in style.
With the proceeds of the party assisting with the purchase of a couple of key fleet and equipment items last year, it’s now an important event in our fundraising calendar as well as predominantly being a social occasion for all our members to relax and enjoy after the busy head season.

NEW YEARS EVE 2014
Those who attended the fabulous New Years Eve party at the club now know that there is no better venue in Melbourne for celebrating this occasion. What an amazing view of the fireworks, sipping champagne on our fabulous deck! Thanks to all who brought along such good cheer on the evening, and special thanks to Vicki Brennan for her hard work in making the event happen. The good news is that the committee has decided that New Years Eve will be reserved as an evening for members to enjoy our wonderful facility and will not be available for outside hall hire. So mark your calendars now!
Even more fabulous is that the event was also a significant fundraiser for the club. Firstly, we have been able to pay the balance owing on the Woolcock; this lovely coxless quad was purchased late last year and has been an excellent addition to our fleet. Money raised will also enable the refurbishment of this boat. Finally, the club can now purchase some rolling steps to replace the aging black steps; anyone who accesses boats on the top racks will greet this news with joy.
The next major fundraising event will be the Quiz night on Saturday 14th March, and the goal from this will be the purchase of new sculling oars and ergos. So bring along your family and friends and enjoy a great evening. Finally, the club will run the Bunnings sausage sizzle at the Hawthorn store on May 2: we will be calling for volunteers to help out on this day.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Thanks to everyone who made last nights Christmas party a big success. I can’t believe now we have our beautiful deck and air conditioned clubhouse last night was the first time in at least five years the RRC Christmas party has been held on a wet sub 30 degree day – but that’s just the way it goes.
We’ll have a second chance to party this Summer though with RRC hosting a New Years Eve party. Come and celebrate NYE at the best venue in Melbourne! Our clubhouse always has been one of the best places to watch the City of Melbourne fireworks and this year with the new deck I am confident it will be a remarkable way to see in the new year!
